Worked on the lichess-org/mobile repository to deliver a targeted feature and dependency upgrade for the mobile chess client. Focused on enhancing user personalization and performance, the work introduced a new Purple Board Theme, making customization more accessible within the app. Upgraded the Chessground dependency to version 7.3.0, which included new piece styles and alignment fixes, improving both UI consistency and rendering stability. Leveraged Dart and Flutter to implement these changes, ensuring maintainability and a smoother user experience. The updates addressed UI alignment issues and improved rendering performance, directly supporting user engagement and the overall quality of the mobile platform.
