During their work on the cockpit-project/bots repository, Luna Dragon focused on stabilizing the test infrastructure by resolving a dependency issue with systemd-experimental in the OpenSUSE Tumbleweed environment. Luna installed the necessary systemd-experimental package to enable the required systemd generator, ensuring reliable communication within guest environments during continuous integration testing. This effort involved skills in package management, system administration, and testing, primarily using Shell scripting. By addressing this critical bug, Luna laid the foundation for more robust and efficient test coverage, enabling faster feedback cycles and supporting future expansion of automated testing within the project’s continuous integration pipeline.
