Luyu developed the Bangumi Direct ID Lookup Search feature for the Kazumi repository, focusing on backend development and API integration using Dart. This enhancement introduced a new API endpoint that enables direct lookups of Bangumi catalog items by numeric ID, streamlining the search process. Luyu implemented conditional routing so that numeric-only search terms are handled by the new endpoint, while non-numeric terms continue to use the existing keyword search. This approach reduced lookup latency and improved search accuracy for users. The work demonstrated a targeted, well-scoped improvement, laying groundwork for future ID-based catalog workflows within the Kazumi project.
