Worked on the gravitational/teleport repository to deliver an advanced access control system featuring nested membership and improved inheritance for access lists. Refactored the access list structure to align with RFCs and protocol updates, enabling access lists to include other lists as members or owners and supporting recursive membership checks. Enhanced member count calculations by excluding nested lists, which improves policy evaluation accuracy and reduces maintenance overhead. Updated documentation, examples, and integrations to reflect these new capabilities. Utilized Go for backend development, leveraging skills in API design, system design, and gRPC to create a more scalable and flexible access control solution.
