During March 2025, Leo Huang developed the Contributor and Organization Transactions API for the cornellh4i/CHEM repository, focusing on backend enhancements to support financial reporting. He designed and implemented new RESTful endpoints using Express.js, Node.js, and Prisma, enabling retrieval of transaction amounts for both contributors and organizations. Leo integrated these endpoints into the organizations route, ensuring accurate and accessible data for finance analytics. To maintain reliability, he established a testing infrastructure that validates endpoint functionality and guards against regressions. The work addressed the need for granular transaction visibility, providing a foundation for improved contributor- and organization-level financial oversight.

March 2025: Delivered the Contributor and Organization Transactions API for CHEM, enabling new endpoints to retrieve transaction amounts for contributors and organizations (getContributorTransactions and getOrganizationTransactions) and registered these endpoints in the organizations route to enable transaction data retrieval. Also established testing infrastructure to validate the new endpoints and ensure reliability. No major bug fixes documented this month; the focus was on API delivery, data visibility, and enabling finance analytics. This work enhances business value by supporting contributor- and organization-level financial reporting and oversight.
