Worked on the lobehub/lobe-chat repository to integrate the Gemini 3.0 Pro Preview model into the Google Provider, enhancing chat flows with advanced reasoning and search capabilities. Focused on backend development using TypeScript, the work involved updating provider-level logic and refining model ID handling to ensure reliable deployment. Styling adjustments and improvements to the Thinking component were implemented to support richer user interactions with the new AI model. This integration enabled higher-quality responses and improved search-enabled conversations, reducing manual troubleshooting during rollout and supporting a more seamless user experience. The work demonstrated depth in AI and backend development skills.
