
Developed and deployed a new SMAP L2 to GeoTIFF reformatter service chain within the nasa/harmony repository, enabling standardized data delivery for downstream analytics through the Trajectory Subsetter workflow. Leveraging configuration management and DevOps skills, the work integrated YAML-based orchestration across CMR queries, the Trajectory Subsetter, and the SMAP L2 Gridder to automate GeoTIFF output generation. Production and UAT environments were updated to include this processing, with careful cleanup to remove test chains and clarify naming conventions. This approach established a robust operational pattern, supporting future integration needs while maintaining clear production-state labeling and end-to-end workflow reliability.
