During December 2024, Lyoshida enhanced CI/CD test suite management for the ibm-mas/cli repository by implementing descriptive test suite naming within Tekton pipeline definitions. This work involved updating YAML configuration files to align the fvt_test_suite parameter and related keywords with more descriptive names, ensuring that the correct test suites are invoked during automated CI/CD runs. By focusing on configuration management and leveraging Tekton, Lyoshida reduced the risk of misconfiguration and improved the reliability of test feedback loops. The patch was intentionally lean, minimizing surface area to facilitate maintainability while directly addressing issue tracking and commit requirements for the repository.
