During April 2026, Lzzr contributed to the home-assistant/core repository by upgrading the xiaomi-ble dependency from version 1.10.0 to 1.10.1, focusing on enhancing the stability and compatibility of BLE integrations. This work involved careful dependency management and software maintenance, ensuring that the core library remained up to date without introducing regressions. By leveraging Python and JSON, Lzzr implemented a patch-level upgrade that expanded device support and laid the foundation for future BLE features. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the targeted improvements strengthened the project’s reliability and supported ongoing development in the Home Assistant ecosystem.
