During the month, contributed to the taiga-family/taiga-ui repository by delivering an advanced feature upgrade focused on user guidance through flexible hint placement. The work involved implementing priority-based hint directions in the TuiHint component, allowing developers to specify a list of preferred directions for hint display. This required extending the TuiHintOptions interface and enhancing the TuiHintPosition directive to support the new logic. Comprehensive tests and updated demos were added to ensure reliable behavior across various layouts. The feature, developed using Angular and TypeScript with a focus on component and front-end development, improved both user experience and developer workflow efficiency.
