Worked on the EvolEcolGroup/tidypopgen repository, focusing on enhancing the reliability of data visualization workflows in R. Addressed a specific edge case by developing and integrating a targeted test to ensure the autoplot function handles NA values in the MAF column without failure, even when genotype or allele information is missing. This contribution improved data integrity and safeguarded against potential errors in downstream analysis. Leveraged skills in data analysis, R programming, and software testing to document the behavior and incorporate the test into the project’s regression suite, supporting ongoing code quality and robustness for future development and maintenance.
