Worked on enhancing high-availability URL handling in the ClickHouse/clickhouse-go repository, focusing on backend development using Go. Implemented improved parsing for multi-host high-availability configurations by integrating a modified version of Go’s url.Parse from Go 1.25.7. This approach reduced configuration errors and increased connection reliability for enterprise deployments, directly addressing the challenges of robust HA setups. The work established a more resilient foundation for future high-availability features and simplified the maintainability of multi-host configurations. Throughout the project, the developer applied expertise in Go and backend systems, delivering a targeted feature that improved the reliability and flexibility of ClickHouse deployments.
