During June 2026, contributed to the elastic/integrations repository by delivering an end-to-end data ingestion enhancement for ESET Protect. Developed two new data streams that collect device inventory and per-device vulnerability data from ESET APIs, improving asset visibility and vulnerability monitoring. The implementation included fingerprint-based deduplication using device UUIDs and mapping to ECS host fields to maintain identity fidelity. Leveraged Elasticsearch and DevOps practices to enforce a two-hour retention policy, ensuring timely removal of remediated vulnerabilities. Utilized JSON and YAML for configuration and test inputs, validating data quality and streamlining ingestion workflows to support enhanced observability within the Protect system.
