During November 2025, Alex contributed to the home-assistant/brands repository by designing and delivering a branding logo for the Sofabaton X1S custom integration. Focusing on UI and graphic design, Alex utilized SVG to create a visual asset that enhances the integration’s identity within Home Assistant. The work included standardizing asset naming conventions and metadata, which streamlines future branding updates and rollouts. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the contribution addressed the need for consistent branding across integrations. The technical depth centered on asset management and visual design within an open-source context.
