Worked on the ente-io/ente repository to deliver stability and correctness improvements in backend systems using Go. Focused on standardizing data types for memory and operation limits as well as storage thresholds, the work reduced risks of negative values and overflows while ensuring consistent semantics across modules. Refactored time calculations to leverage the Go standard library’s time package, improving accuracy and safety in integer operations. Expanded test coverage around these changes to catch regressions early and support future scalability. Demonstrated skills in API development, backend engineering, and test-driven development, laying a foundation for safer and more maintainable code growth.
