Worked on enhancing compatibility and reliability within the bioconda-recipes and snakemake/snakemake repositories, focusing on Python development, dependency management, and continuous integration. Delivered targeted improvements by relaxing packaging dependencies in snakemake-interface-common to minimize install conflicts and updating build numbers for smoother cross-environment stability. Implemented Python 3.14 compatibility in snakemake, expanded the CI matrix to cover the new interpreter, and updated object serialization protocols to support forward compatibility. Coordinated with the conda-forge ecosystem to ensure critical dependencies were ready for upgrade, laying the foundation for future Python version support and improving the overall robustness of the build process.
