Worked on the ollama/ollama repository to deliver WebP image format support, enhancing the app’s compatibility with modern image assets. Updated file validation logic to accept WebP images when vision capabilities are enabled, and extended image-type recognition to treat WebP as a valid input. This integration allowed users to input WebP images directly into the vision pipeline, streamlining workflows and reducing the need for manual image conversion. The work was implemented using Go and TypeScript, drawing on both front end and full stack development skills to ensure seamless integration with existing features and maintain consistency across the application’s image handling processes.
