Worked on reliability improvements for federated identity provisioning in the Azure/Azure-Verified-Modules repository, focusing on resolving a race condition during Federated Credentials creation. Addressed intermittent failures by ensuring that the User-Assigned Managed Identity is fully established before proceeding with credential creation and role assignments, introducing a controlled delay to account for eventual consistency in Azure. This fix, implemented using PowerShell scripting and leveraging cloud infrastructure expertise, reduced manual remediation and improved automation reliability in multi-tenant environments. The changes enabled more predictable deployments and smoother CI/CD workflows, enhancing the stability of automated federated identity provisioning without introducing new features.
