During a two-month period, Hieu developed and refined event voice channel joining features for the mezon-fe repository, focusing on mobile UI and user experience using React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Hieu introduced a new bottom sheet component to streamline the process of joining voice channels within events, refactored related UI elements for consistency, and improved discoverability of voice features. By optimizing state management and integrating responsive UI patterns, Hieu reduced friction in the join flow and enhanced onboarding speed for users. The work established a scalable foundation for future voice features and contributed to improved engagement metrics without introducing new bugs.
