Worked on enabling platform-level display output for the MT8196 platform within the zephyrproject-rtos/trusted-firmware-a repository. Focused on establishing the foundational support for DisplayPort and embedded DisplayPort by introducing essential register definitions and memory-mapped I/O entries, which are critical for activating the display output pathway. This engineering effort addressed a key gap in the MT8196 bring-up process and set the stage for future integration with the display stack. Utilized C for device driver development and embedded systems work, applying expertise in hardware abstraction layers to ensure the groundwork was robust for downstream testing and further feature expansion.
December 2024: Focused on platform-level display enablement in trusted-firmware-a for MT8196. Delivered the groundwork for DisplayPort and embedded DisplayPort support by introducing necessary register definitions and memory-mapped access entries, enabling the display output pathway on MT8196. This work closes a critical gap for MT8196 bring-up and paves the way for end-to-end display features in future sprints.
