During July 2025, madman3838 delivered Turkish localization enhancements for the Jellyfin and jellyfin-androidtv repositories, focusing on accessibility and user experience for Turkish-speaking users. Leveraging a Weblate-driven translation workflow, madman3838 translated 559 strings across both core and Android TV platforms, ensuring consistency and scalability in the localization process. The work involved extensive use of JSON and XML to manage translation files, demonstrating proficiency in open source contribution and translation management. By completing these features, madman3838 improved globalization readiness and enabled broader adoption of Jellyfin among Turkish users, though the scope was limited to new features without bug fixes during this period.
