Magda Baj focused on enhancing the surveyjs/survey-library by implementing comprehensive Slovenian language support, enabling surveys to be delivered natively to Slovenian-speaking users. She approached this by translating all user-facing strings and registering the Slovenian locale, ensuring seamless integration within the existing frontend architecture. Utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript, Magda applied her skills in frontend development, internationalization, and localization to deliver a feature that expanded the library’s accessibility. Her work involved multiple validated localization commits, emphasizing maintainability and quality. Although the scope was limited to one feature over the month, the depth of her implementation addressed both usability and inclusivity.
