Worked on the saleor/saleor repository to deliver targeted backend improvements focused on reliability and security. Addressed a critical configuration issue by updating Python settings to ensure AWS S3 URLs default to a secure protocol when environment variables are undefined, enhancing deployment stability across environments. Additionally, strengthened CI/CD processes by modifying YAML-based GitHub Actions workflows to restrict cron-triggered jobs to the main repository, mitigating risks of unintended execution on forks. Demonstrated expertise in backend development, configuration management, and CI/CD automation, with a focus on robust code quality and secure operational practices.
