Worked on enhancing CI/CD reliability and maintainability across Automattic’s simplenote-android and sensei repositories. Addressed build security by updating Gradle SHA pins in simplenote-android, ensuring the use of stable Gradle actions and reducing supply-chain risk. In sensei, improved pipeline stability by pinning third-party GitHub Actions to specific commit SHAs and introducing a Dependabot configuration for automated workflow updates. Leveraged skills in Continuous Integration, DevOps, and GitHub Actions, with a focus on YAML and Gradle. The work emphasized traceability, reproducibility, and reduced maintenance overhead, resulting in more predictable builds and streamlined dependency management for both projects.
