January 2025: Stabilized mosip-config repo, enabled convention-based ID feature for credential requests, fixed configuration drift, and completed release-branch cleanup to ensure production readiness. This work delivers targeted business value by enabling standardized credential issuance, reducing deployment risk, and improving data/config hygiene.

Key features delivered include: (1) Flexible User Login and Validation enabling multi-identifier login (NRCID, email, phone) with updated username validation across multiple formats. (2) Secure and Direct Email Delivery implementing secure transmission via updated 'from' address, STARTTLS, and authentication; disables email proxying for direct delivery. (3) Reduce Mandatory Languages lowering the minimum from 2 to 1 to broaden accessibility. (4) Onboarding Biometric Data Reduction removing IRIS attributes from operator onboarding to streamline the process. In addition, (5) Identity Mapping Schema Alignment fixes to ensure identity-mapping.json aligns with IDSchema for consistent mapping. Commits span updates to registration-default.properties, esignet-default.properties, kernel-default.properties, application-default.properties, identity-mapping.json as applicable.

In November 2024, delivered a safety-focused configuration improvement in mosip/inji-config by disabling data-sharing transactions in standalone mode via static policy. This reduces the risk of unintended data sharing in standalone deployments and enforces a safer default configuration. The change is implemented in commit 3894334c44a280accee0dc03459d57b94b177846.
