During September 2025, Adolenc developed a versioning enhancement for the openDAQ/openDAQ repository, focusing on Python package management and command-line interface development. He introduced a __version__ attribute within the package and implemented a --version CLI flag, allowing users and tooling to easily access the current package version for usability and introspection. This approach aligned the repository with established versioning best practices, streamlining packaging and deployment workflows for downstream consumers. The work, written in Python, improved integration with external tools and facilitated future releases.
