During April 2025, Nayem Ador contributed to the AdguardTeam/HostlistsRegistry repository by updating the TikTok service blocklist to include the tiktokrow-cdn.com domain, thereby improving ad-blocking and content filtering for TikTok-related domains. This work involved editing the tiktok.yml configuration file using YAML and applying configuration management best practices to ensure accurate domain-level blocking. Nayem utilized Git for version control and maintained the stability and performance of the HostlistsRegistry throughout the process. The update addressed the need for enhanced blocking fidelity, reducing ad leakage and supporting the project’s ongoing roadmap for robust domain-list-based blocking workflows.
