Over a two-month period, Tekacs enhanced terminal input handling in the zed-industries/codex repository, focusing on robust Shift and Ctrl-Enter key support to ensure consistent newline insertion and submission across diverse terminal environments. This work addressed edge cases in Ghostty integration, improving reliability and user experience for developers. Later, in the DioxusLabs/dioxus repository, Tekacs implemented WebAssembly hotpatching improvements by refining symbol handling for wasm-bindgen generated modules and correcting zero-sized data symbol processing. Using Rust, TypeScript, and expertise in build systems and front end development, Tekacs delivered targeted solutions that increased stability and reliability for both terminal and WebAssembly workflows.
