Worked on the 4C-multiphysics/4C repository to enhance the reliability of the shell7p element within the 4C solver by addressing a critical bug in the load linearization matrix. Focused on correcting indexing errors, refining the derivatives of shape functions, and improving the linearization of the surface normal vector using C++ and finite element analysis techniques. Updated test data and expected results to reflect these corrections, ensuring that structural displacement and stress predictions aligned with the improved implementation. Streamlined test configurations by removing redundant solver parameters, and validated the changes through comprehensive software testing to maintain production stability and accuracy.
