Worked on the tramlinehq/tramline repository to enhance navigational clarity and user experience by implementing dynamic page titles that reflect the current controller and action. Developed a reusable page_title helper and a private set_page_name hook, centralizing title generation to ensure consistent and contextual navigation cues throughout the application. This approach improved user orientation and accessibility across pages, making navigation more intuitive. The work involved both backend and frontend development, utilizing Ruby, HTML, and YAML to support internationalization and maintainability. The feature was designed to simplify future enhancements and maintenance, focusing on scalable and adaptable title management within the codebase.
