During January 2026, Alex Makarof delivered token metadata and icons for the Somnia token and its wrapped version across multiple EIP-155 networks in the MetaMask/contract-metadata repository. Alex focused on blockchain development and metadata management, standardizing the token metadata schema using JSON to ensure consistent appearance and recognition in the MetaMask user interface. This work enhanced cross-network usability and reduced onboarding friction for users interacting with Somnia tokens.
