During August 2025, Makeki contributed to the reocat/OuterTune repository by advancing Hindi localization through Weblate, translating 140 out of 234 strings to reach nearly 60% coverage. Focusing on XML-based translation files, Makeki ensured that Hindi-speaking users would have improved access to the application’s interface. The work included committing changes with clear traceability, supporting a transparent localization workflow and laying groundwork for future multilingual support. By leveraging skills in localization and XML, Makeki addressed the need for broader accessibility without introducing new bugs, demonstrating a methodical approach to internationalization and a focus on maintainable, incremental progress within the project.
