In mariadb-operator, Makkausu enhanced maintainability by refactoring Go code to address staticcheck and linting issues, such as removing dot imports, aliasing conflicting packages, and standardizing error messages. For okx/op-geth, Makkausu improved the reliability of Ethclient’s pending transaction tests by ensuring the transaction pool was fully synchronized before background operations and adding robust error handling. These contributions demonstrated strong skills in Go, Kubernetes, and testing, resulting in more stable codebases and streamlined future development efforts.
