In storybookjs/storybook, Makoto enhanced an ESLint rule to better support self-referencing context within Storybook play functions, addressing edge cases involving argument passing and object destructuring. This JavaScript and TypeScript work reduced false positives in linting and improved reliability for developers using Storybook. In adobe/react-spectrum, Makoto corrected a documentation error in the React Aria Tooltip component, ensuring guidance accurately reflected component behavior. Throughout both projects, Makoto emphasized maintainability and onboarding by refining documentation and upholding code-review standards using JavaScript and Markdown.
