During September 2025, Malte Lenz focused on maintaining versioning integrity within the modelica/ModelicaStandardLibrary repository. He addressed a version string formatting issue by reverting a previous change, updating all relevant .mo files to use the correct '4.2.0 dev' format and aligning dateModified annotations. This work, performed in Modelica and leveraging skills in code reversion and version control, restored proper release string semantics and improved downstream automation reliability. By documenting the changes thoroughly in the commit history, Malte enhanced repository hygiene and traceability, ensuring future maintainers can easily follow the rationale behind the update and maintain consistency across releases.
