During July 2025, Maltsev focused on enhancing the stability and user experience of the core-ds/core-components repository, specifically addressing cross-device interaction consistency. He resolved a bug affecting the KeyPadButton’s hover state on non-iOS mobile devices by implementing a CSS media query to detect hover support, ensuring uniform interactive feedback across platforms. By isolating hover logic within CSS and media queries, Maltsev reduced device-specific inconsistencies and improved maintainability. His work, documented and linked to the CS1-2847 ticket for traceability, demonstrated a methodical approach using CSS, TypeScript, and React, emphasizing depth in cross-device front-end development rather than new feature delivery.
