Worked on the antiwork/gumroad repository to deliver auditing enhancements for refunds on suspended accounts, focusing on backend development with Ruby on Rails and Sidekiq. Developed an automated admin action logging system at the worker level, introducing a dedicated audit comment type to improve traceability of financial actions. The implementation aligned with existing suspension workflows and included robust testing, achieving high-confidence coverage in both local and CI environments. By automating audit trails and reducing manual operational overhead, the work improved financial compliance and enabled faster investigations. Emphasis was placed on maintainable code, structured logging, and comprehensive test coverage using Ruby-based tools.
