Worked on enhancing Android packaging security and reliability across the facebook/buck2 and facebook/buck2-prelude repositories. Developed automated package validators and audit tooling using Python, integrating them into Buck2’s build system to detect forbidden strings in APK and bundle contents. Extended these validations to ensure consistent compliance checks across both APK and bundle builds. Addressed and resolved critical test failures by correcting variable usage and function wrapping in build scripts, as well as fixing underscore definition issues in test cases. This work strengthened release security, reduced test flakiness, and improved cross-repository consistency, demonstrating expertise in Android development, build systems, and test automation.
