Worked on optimizing channel list rendering for the nccasia/mezon repository, focusing on improving both clarity and performance of the user interface. Developed and integrated a prioritizeChannel function to enhance thread ordering, and refined the sortChannels logic to accurately map channels to their respective categories and parent-child relationships. This approach addressed issues with incorrect thread ordering and category associations, resulting in more accurate thread displays and a scalable channel organization. Leveraged TypeScript for frontend development and state management, emphasizing maintainable, commit-driven workflows. The work laid a foundation for future enhancements by stabilizing variable initialization and reducing UI confusion for end users.
