During December 2025, Manoj Kumar enhanced the facebook/folly repository by extending the prettyPrint utility to support formatting of bit values, addressing the need for accurate network bandwidth representation. He implemented PRETTY_BITS_METRIC support, allowing prettyPrint to display bandwidth measurements using standard metric prefixes such as kb, Mb, and Gb, in addition to the existing byte formatting. This C++ development effort focused on improving monitoring and diagnostics for network-centric applications. Manoj applied software design principles and unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability. The work demonstrated depth in understanding both the codebase and the requirements of network-related feature enhancements.
