During December 2025, work focused on enhancing the th-ch/youtube-music repository by implementing comprehensive German localization for the user interface. Leveraging i18n and translation skills, nearly all UI strings were translated using JSON and integrated through Weblate, achieving 99.5% coverage. The update also included a user experience improvement by clarifying playlist permission controls, directly addressing user confusion and improving accessibility for German-speaking audiences. No major bug fixes were recorded, as the primary effort centered on expanding the platform’s reach and usability. This targeted localization initiative laid the groundwork for broader internationalization and improved clarity in playlist management features.
