Worked on stabilizing the development environment for the modell-aachen/modac-dev-machine-setup repository by addressing a critical configuration issue. Focused on configuration management and DevOps practices, the work involved updating the Plugin.json file to correct the ASDF PATH, ensuring that ASDF shims are properly discoverable by the system. This fix, implemented using JSON, eliminated environment-related failures that previously affected developer onboarding and continuous integration reliability. By resolving this bug, the developer improved the setup process and reduced potential build and test errors, resulting in a more stable and efficient workflow for both new and existing contributors to the project.
