Worked on security hardening for the MicrosoftDocs/Virtualization-Documentation repository by updating the ASP.NET Blog sample configuration. Addressed security best practices by removing the hardcoded machineKey from the web.config file and replacing it with auto-generated keys, thereby eliminating exposure of sensitive information in the sample code. This change aligned the documentation with SFI compliance requirements and enabled safer future key rotation. Leveraged skills in configuration management and XML to deliver a minimal, auditable update that improved the security posture of the sample application. The work demonstrated practical application of security controls to real-world code, supporting safer and more compliant documentation samples.
