Worked on enhancing the icon library within the contentful/forma-36 repository by developing two new React components, GitBranchIcon and VariantIcon, to improve the visual representation of branching in version control systems. Focused on front end development using JavaScript and TypeScript, the work included refining the VariantIcon component and resolving module import issues by explicitly adding the .js extension. Applied Prettier formatting to maintain code consistency and addressed import resolution to reduce future maintenance friction. These contributions laid the groundwork for scalable icon expansion, resulting in a cleaner, more maintainable codebase that supports future growth of the icon library.
