Worked on the toeverything/AFFiNE repository to enhance the stability of the MCP keyword_search tool by addressing edge cases in search interactions. Focused on backend development using TypeScript, the work introduced robust error handling to prevent crashes when searches returned no results. Implemented defensive checks after permission filtering to avoid undefined document references, ensuring the system returned a clear, user-friendly message when no matches were found. This approach improved user experience and reduced support overhead for search-related issues. Additional contributions included updating test coverage and documentation to support maintainability and reliability of the empty-result handling logic within the codebase.
