Refactored APM instrumentation configuration in Go, simplifying status reporting by removing deprecated environment variable checks and reducing complexity from a tri-state to a boolean model. Enhanced the agent-linux-install-script using shell scripting to harden privileged log handling, ensuring logs are disabled by default with process log collection unless explicitly enabled. Updated tests to reflect these changes, improving reliability and reducing risk of misconfiguration or privacy leaks.
