
Worked on the fieldsoftheworld/ftw-baselines repository to deliver new geospatial data processing features and workflow enhancements for crop calendar and Sentinel-2 satellite imagery. Developed Python-based service logic and CLI tools to compute harvest days from raster data, integrating date conversion utilities and geospatial analysis pipelines. Enhanced the end-to-end workflow by adding EarthSearch as a data source, implementing scene selection with cloud-cover filtering, and orchestrating model inference through a unified command-line interface. Addressed error handling in STAC API queries by introducing validation for future date ranges, improving reliability and user feedback. Emphasized robust testing and production-ready data engineering practices.
