Worked on the insightsengineering/crane repository to enhance the reliability of data visualization utilities using R and ggplot2. Focused on resolving a core issue in line plots where error bars were misaligned when position adjustments were applied, which previously required manual corrections by analysts. Introduced a position parameter to the gg_add_stats function, ensuring error bars now move in sync with points and lines. Propagated these adjustments through downstream plotting statistics to maintain consistent visuals across all chart elements. Collaborated through the pull request process to validate the solution, preparing the visualization utilities for use in production analytics dashboards.
