Worked on the openvino repository to deliver three features focused on compatibility, maintainability, and performance. Implemented a compiler loader fallback to support both legacy and new driver packages, ensuring a smooth transition and reducing risk during upgrades. Improved repository hygiene by updating .gitignore to exclude .clangd, streamlining indexing and onboarding. In the Intel NPU plugin, optimized VCLApi loading by removing legacy fallback logic, reducing conditional branches and startup overhead. All work was completed using C++ and git, with an emphasis on plugin architecture and robust error handling to enhance code maintainability, testability, and long-term repository sustainability.
