During April 2026, contributed to the uyuni-project/uyuni repository by developing an automated SSH Known Hosts Removal API endpoint, aimed at improving security and operational efficiency in Salt SSH environments. This feature enables programmatic cleanup of known_hosts entries, reducing manual maintenance and minimizing the risk of stale SSH configurations. The work involved backend API development and REST API design, leveraging Java and unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability. By aligning with Uyuni’s SSH management patterns, the solution supports scalable configuration management across distributed systems. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and stable engineering effort.
